What is the Havant District Pubwatch?
It is a voluntary organization and its aim is to help reduce alcohol-related crime. This will ultimately achieve a safer drinking environment, benefiting both licensee and customer. The Pubwatch network is supported by the Havant District Police Licensing Unit and is made up of its various members from across all areas of Havant and Leigh Park, Emsworth, Hayling Island and Waterlooville. Members of Pubwatch regularly meet and discuss issues relating to social responsibility, the safety of it's regular customers and visitors to the area. A major talking point is how to create an enviroment whereby all businesses in the local towns can benefit and prosper by reducing alcohol-related problems.
